St. Cyprian Catholic Church issued the following announcement on Sept. 6

O God, our maker of al creation, we pray for peace and an end to gun violence. We pray for respect for human life in all its stages. We pray for a commitment to human rights and the protection of all lives. We pray for peace and for justice in our homes, city, and streets. Wrap all and each of your children in your love. We pray for an end to violence, especially gun violence and senseless deaths. Grant us this peace God. Grant us a peaceful world. Amen
