Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception issued the following announcement on September 6.
Jesus said in this weekend's Gospel: "Where two or three are gathered, I am there." During this pandemic we have been limited to the "two or three" who gather in the church. Recently, we have experienced a big rise in those attending church. People are feeling more comfortable coming to the building. I also believe folks are missing being part of the community and most importantly a longing for the Eucharist. This is a good problem for any church to experience. Because of the rising numbers, we may have to turn folks away at the door (and believe me, that's the LAST thing I, as a pastor, want to do). We are working on ways to be more efficient in how we seat folks and offering other alternatives to weekend Masses (parking lot Masses and week day Masses). See you in church!
