St Peter's Catholic Church recently issued the following announcement.
As we opened our doors for the new school year at St. Peter’s School, we are so grateful for the generous support of individuals, families, businesses and St. Peter’s Parishioners. You have made it possible for us to provide an exceptional Catholic education to our students. We are always thankful for your support. It has been especially important over the last few months as we have faced the challenges brought on by COVID-19. St. Peter’s School is Blessed! YOU are an essential part of the St. Peter School community and we are grateful for you! It is through your support that St. Peter’s School is able to create the culture of joy in which we provide each student the opportunity to grow into the person they were created to become! THANK YOU! During the Spring 2020 shutdown, other students may have found themselves without academic guidance, but St. Peter School teachers had virtual face time and lessons for students every school day beginning on the first day of quarantine. Our principal, Mrs. Jill Harris, met online with the whole school every morning to start our students’ day with a prayer and a positive message. St. Peter’s School teachers and staff devoted their summer to forming protocols to bring our entire student body SAFELY back to our buildings. Our school will continue to be a refuge of learning, safety and love during these uncertain times. Thank you to Mrs. Harris and all our Teachers!
