SS Peter & Paul, St. Cecilia, Holy Family and St Felix, Churches issued the following announcement on Oct. 14.
Kim Zember and Jackie Angel talk about the beauty of friendships between Catholics and Protestants.
It may seem like the differences between Catholics and Protestants are inescapable, but the reality is that we actually have a lot in common with our Protestant brothers and sisters. The main similarity between us is our love of Jesus. Anyone who is a baptized Christian is going to carry a love of the Lord in their hearts and live in the power of the Holy Spirit. We can learn a lot from our Protestant brothers and sisters, and it’s important to look at the relationships the Lord has blessed us with and ask why they were placed in our lives. We can always learn from those around us and use this knowledge to deepen our relationship with Christ.
