St. Callistus Catholic Church issued the following announcement on Oct. 11.

Election year for our Pastoral Council. Three seats are up for election. We are seeking nominations from our Parish. Any member 18 years or older is eligible to serve. At the moment we are meeting every month, usually the first Thursday of each month. Council serves to help our Pastor in the administration of the Parish, and to offer all an organized way of facilitating dialogue and rapport between Clergy and Laity. We are to support the activities of the parish and the Universal Church. Nominations can be placed in the collection basket through October 18th. Nominees will be contacted to confirm they will accept. Elections will be on a ballot in Church the weekend of October 25th. Newly elected members, will be announced in the bulletin, are to attend the next meeting on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at 7:00PM in the Multipurpose Room.
