Some of those who most need of our care and attention are those whose lives are treated as if they don’t matter. Sadly, human life often faces particular threats at its beginning and end—precisely when it is most in need of protection. For example, practices such as abortion and assisted suicide tragically reject the truth that human life is always to be cherished and defended with loving concern. Hanover Area Council of Churches, 136 Carlisle St., Hanover, PA is open to the public Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. They have an abundance of clothing and many other items.
They are offering each individual 2 bags of clothing for FREE. You are required to make an appointment by calling 717-633-6353. Upon arrival you must wear a mask and have your temperature taken before you shop. You will have 1 hour to shop. Free coats, hats, gloves, and scarves will be given away for the winter. But you, beloved, build yourselves up in your most holy faith; pray in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in the love of God and wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life. On those who waver, have mercy; save others by snatching them out of the fire; on others have mercy with fear, abhorring even the outer garment stained by the flesh.
