Nativity Church - South Park- Pittsburgh recently issued the following announcement.

As we focus on all the Holy Souls, we have of our deceased brothers and sisters. This week’s bulletin has the names of all the deceased from our four churches over the past year. Please note the dates, times and locations of the four Memorial Masses, located on page 6. In the midst of all of the challenges everyone has faced this year; please continue to keep in heart and prayer the needs of those who continue to mourn the loss of a loved one. Progress continues in preparing our space for the central administrative offices at St. Germaine Church. 

We anticipate this move to be made within the next few weeks. Once the move is completed, office hours will be 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. We will be adding earlier daily Masses for our parish grouping sometime between early and mid-November. As we make decisions based on the availability of Masses and times in our parish grouping, it needs to be what works best overall. 

What seems to make the most sense, for a variety of reasons, is the early daily Mass be held at one location and one time, St. Germaine at 8:00 AM, Monday through Friday. With St. Germaine Church being the new central office location, and with office hours beginning at 8:30 AM, having a daily 8:00 AM Mass there makes the most sense. It also makes sense from an attendance point of view; prior to Covid 19 our largest daily attendance was on Tuesday’s 8:00 AM at St. Germaine Church. In addition, we will be adding back to the schedule one evening Mass, Wednesdays at 7:00 PM at Nativity Church (preceded by Confessions at 6:15 PM.) We should be able to announce start dates for these additions soon. Gratefully in Christ,
