St. Mark Church, Bristol recently issued the following announcement.

Campaign for Food New Challenge Issued by Bristol Borough Residents

Bristol residents Carol and Bruce Beaton, with their recent donation to the Grundy Foundation’s COVID-19: Feeding Bristol Borough campaign, have issued a challenge to the community to match their $2,500.00 donation.

Mr. Gene Williams, Executive Director of the Grundy Foundation, announced that the Beaton contribution pushed the original campaign goal of $10,000.00 over the top.

With matching funds, additional meals will be provided through August and September to Borough individuals facing food insecurities due to the pandemic.

Local restaurants providing meals include Annabell’s Italian, Cesare’s Ristorante, King George II Inn, Itri Wood Fired, and Mill Street Cantina.

Contributions big and small are appreciated, with 100% of every dollar feeding and caring for the hungry among us.

Taxdeductible contributions can be mailed to the Grundy Foundation, 680 Radciliie Street, Bristol, Pa. or made at www.grundyfoundation.com using our PayPal Donate button.

Be sure to mark COVID-19 Feeding Bristol Borough.
