Most Precious Blood Church issued the following announcement on Sept. 11.

Join us for "Dinner Under the Stars" that will be serving as a fundraiser to replace the loss of the Madonna del Monte Festival.

We are mailing out invitations to ALL members of the MPB congregation. If you are not an official member of MPB but would like to join please call 570 454 8714 and we will mail one out to you!

How it works:

1. Takeout option:

$25 per person and the ticket includes choice of chicken francaise, beef medallions in gravy or sautéed salmon. All the above choices come with roasted potatoes and vegetables. Dessert will be included as well.

You preorder and pay in advance and pickup your meal at Frankie's Pizzeria 37 N. Wyoming Street at 5pm.

2. Dinner will be served outside in a socially distant setting with all meals plated and served individually.

$40 per person includes:

A cocktail hour from 5 to 6pm with one drink ticket and passed appetizers.

6pm you will be seated and salads and dinner are served. There will be a cash bar for the evening. Dessert will follow to end the night.

You have a choice of chicken francaise, beef medallions in gravy or sautéed salmon. All the above choices come with roasted potatoes and vegetables.

Entertainment will be announced as well as the lineup of some items to be raffled off. Save the date and share with your friends! This is a fundraiser to step in where we missed out on the Madonna del Monte.

Prepaid tickets and reservations are REQUIRED for this event. There will be no tickets sold at the door on the night of the event.
