Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church issued the following announcement on Sept. 9.

We are working on project that will provide quality streaming to our church, and improve the in church experience for the congregation as well.

There are several areas that you can help us.

Installation/setup

This will involve running wires and mounting of equipment. We could use some help with electrical knowledge, as well as other help with the pulling of wires and installation of cables and equipment. We will work with your availability.

Streaming

This will be the production side. This will include operating the cameras and equipment in the control room. Experience is not necessary. This is something that truly is rewarding and a chance to experience the broadcasting world. This also is something that could provide community service hours for high school students to assist. There will be training and guidelines.

Video preparation

This will involve computer work. This will be taking announcements, readings, prayers, and lyric and putting into format that will be used on the screens and broadcasts. If you are able to do some basic computer functions, we can definitely use your help.

Many hands make for light work. There are plenty of tasks we can use your help for. Please feel free to comment to this post or to call the parish office. Your help is truly appreciated
