Queen of the Apostles Parish issued the following announcement on Sept. 12.

Knights of Columbus Council 5940 recently built a processional platform to carry a statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary at various events. The platform will be consecrated to the Blessed Mother and blessed at an outdoor celebration following the 10 a.m. Mass Sunday, Oct. 11, at Prince of Peace Parish, Old Forge, PA.

To aid their numerous community programs, the Knights are sponsoring a patron book for the celebration. The ad sizes and prices are as follows: full page, $100; half page, $50; quarter page, $25, and memorial ad, $10.Checks can be made payable to Knights of Columbus Council #5940.
