ST. RICHARD OF CHICHESTER CHURCH: Forty Hours Devotion Sunday to Tuesday, September 29– October 1

Announcements

Press release submission Sep 13, 2020

Unnamed

St. Richard of Chichester Church recently issued the following announcement.

“ I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, And he who believes in Me will never thirst.” Jesus Christ

Forty Hours is a special time for us to honor Jesus Christ’s Body and Blood also called The Eucharist

The Body of Christ is placed in the Monstrance for adoration after the 11:30 a.m. Mass and remains on the altar until the 5:00 p.m.

Although the Mass is central to Catholic life, devotions to the Eucharist also are important. Through them we can adore Jesus, pray in his presence, express our sorrow for sin, and experience a oneness with the Son of God.

May the heart of Jesus, in the Most Blessed Sacrament, be praised, adored, and loved with grateful affection, at every moment, in all the tabernacles of the world, even to the end of time. Amen (Saint John Neumann)

Come celebrate the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ as we all pray together for the grace to be the Body of Christ to the world!
