St. Thomas the Apostle Parish issued the following announcement on September 6.

The Bishop gave all the Pastors of the Diocese delegation to do Confirmation in his place for this year – since everything is backed up due to the pandemic and limited big crowds – so for this year I will do the Confirmation of our students who were supposed to get the Sacrament in May. The Confirmation Mass will be on this Thursday September 10 at 7 pm. This Mass is not open for Parishioners or the general public because of the Coronavirus regulations, but I am mentioning it in my column as I ask that you keep the candidates in your prayers this week to be open to all the graces of Confirmation: Katie Bridges, Emera Gregor, Brianna Hickey, Michael Lamb, Elizabeth Letrent, Andrew Yanoshak and Kelly Zubak. At the Mass only the candidates, their sponsor, and their immediate family are to come as we want to be able to practice social distancing and holy prudence in light of the ongoing coronavirus threat.
