St. Katherine Drexel Church issued the following announcement on Sept. 13. 

When: September 15 | 6:30 pm 

Hi ladies, 

In a few days you will be receiving a brochure listing Parish Council of Catholic Women activities for 2020-2021. Because of COVID 19 all scheduled activities are “tentative,” but hopefully with due caution we will be able to join together to grow spiritually and continue responding to the spiritual and corporal needs of our church and community. 

Instead of our yearly covered dish dinner, we will meet for a “Front Yard Picnic With Blessed Mother” (bring your lawn chair) on Tuesday evening, September 15. We will pray the Rosary for an end to the COVID pandemic at 6:30, followed by our “packed lunch supper,” renew friendships and meet new friends. You are invited to bring a baby item which we will donate to a crisis pregnancy center.
