Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish issued the following announcement on Sept. 12.

We Adore You, O Christ, And We Praise You! Because By Your Holy Cross You Have Redeemed The World!

We remember in our prayers today all of those people who died 19 years ago during the terrorist attacks against our country.

You are encouraged to attend the 7:30 a.m. Mass on Monday, September 14, to celebrate the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. During that Mass in our church, a relic of the True Cross will be exposed for public veneration, as well as a relic of the nails that pierced Our Lord. Also, devotional materials promoting the Rosary of Our Lady of Sorrows will be blessed and freely distributed.
