St. Patrick Church recently issued the following announcement.

Message from Mary Anne Malone, Parish Life Coordinator 

Compassion. Mercy. Forgiveness. This is the message in the readings for this weekend. Forgiveness is not always easy, is it? Especially when we feel that we are the wronged party. St. Teresa of Calcutta (Mother Teresa) offers this: “People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.” Like so many things that we ought to do, this is not something that we can do on our own. We need to be open to the grace of God to be able to forgive as God forgives. Mother Teresa also says, “In the end, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.” Love your neighbor. Forgive one another.
