Christ the King Church recently issued the following announcement.

ALL CLEARANCE DOCUMENTS MUST BE TURNED INTO THE PARISH OFFICE NO LATER THAN WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30TH.

RENEWAL OF PA CLEARANCE DOCUMENTS FOR VOLUNTEERS AND MINISTERS 

As you may already know, ALL volunteers, collection counters, choir members, ministers, finance and pastoral council members are required to complete and submit to the parish office a total of six PA clearance documents. They are; the Diocesan Code of Pastoral Conduct, a PA Criminal History Check, a PA Child Abuse Certification, a Volunteer Affidavit OR FBI Fingerprint Check, VIRTUS Training, and Mandated Reporter Training. 

IF YOU ARE A VOLUNTEER OR MINISTER AND HAD PREVIOUSLY SUBMITTED YOUR CLEARANCE DOCUMENTS TO THE PARISH, YOU MUST REVIEW THEM! PLEASE BE AWARE; THE PA CRIMINAL HISTORY CHECK, THE PA CHILD ABUSE CHECK, AND YOUR VOLUNTEER AFFIDAVIT MUST BE RENEWED EVERY 5 YEARS. ADDITIONALLY, YOU MUST BE RECERTIFIED IN VIRTUS EVERY 5 YEARS.
