Cathedral of Saint Peter issued the following announcement on Sept. 27

Respect Life Sunday The Diocese of Scranton will observe Respect Life Sunday with the celebration of Mass on Sunday, October 4, at 10:00 a.m. in the Cathedral of Saint Peter. Bishop Bambera will be the principal celebrant for this liturgy, highlighting the Catholic Church’s respect for the sanctity and dignity of life spanning all stages and conditions, from natural conception to natural death. 

This year’s theme is “Live the Gospel of Life!” The faithful of the Diocese of Scranton are invited to attend this special liturgy in celebration of life. Safety protocols remain in place for this Mass: social distancing (limited seating), and face coverings/masks must be worn). CTV will broadcast this Mass live.
