St. Andrew Church issued the following announcement on Oct. 4.

The Vocations Office and Saint Andrew parish is holding a Eucharistic Holy Hour for vocations to the priesthood every Tuesday 6:15-7:15PM at St Andrew (1621 Ferndale Ave, Johnstown). There will be time for reflection, prayers for priests, religious, families, discerners. We are all aware of the challenges facing our diocese, and so it is more important than ever to pray to our Lord to send laborers into the vineyard. Perhaps you are not yet settled on a vocation and are wondering what plans God has for you. No better way to find out than to spend an hour with our Lord Himself in the Eucharist. Confessions are offered beforehand, from 5-6pm. The holy hour will conclude with benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.
