St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church issued the following announcement on Oct. 4.

Scalp Level Trinity United Methodist Church will be holding their 6th Annual ‘Eunice Smith’ Coat Giveaway on Saturday, October 17, 12noon to 4:30pm at the Windber community Building. They welcome donations of new and gently used coats of all sizes, infants to adult! Monetary donations, as well as, donations of hats, gloves and scarves are also appreciated. Dontions can be brought to the church by October 13. Call 467-9051 to arrange a time to drop off items. Help share God’s wamrth and love with the community!
