St. Barbara Church issued the following announcement on Oct. 4.

Thomas Kopasko, junior at Penn Trafford, boy scout, liturgical minister and active member of youth ministry and its core team, is well on his way to earning his Eagle Scout. A member of Troop #239, Thomas made a decision, in the midst of a global pandemic, to change up his original project. He then began to work closely with countless family members, friends, and the Ladies Guild to hand make 1,123 rosaries. These prayerful works of art will be given directly to specific members of our parish family, include a personalized letter, and instructions on how to pray the rosary.
