St. Bede Church issued the following announcement on Sept. 27.

Join us for the 6th Annual St Bede PTG Golf Outing on Saturday, October 10, at the Westwood Golf Club, 825 Commonwealth Avenue, West Mifflin 15122. This year’s socially distanced golf outing will be held 100% outdoors. The day will begin with a box lunch containing a Triangle sub and chips. After 18 holes of golf, dinner will be provided by Rogue BBQ. You can either take your dinner to go, or bring a chair and stay awhile for a tailgate style dinner. Beer and soda will be provided throughout the day. This could possibly be one of the few socially distanced fundraisers St Bede School can hold this year, so let’s have a record turnout. This is a fun event for new, existing, and former St Bede families to come together to support St Bede School. The “Scramble” format make this event fun for golfers of all skill levels. The cost per golfer is $125, and you can signup as a foursome, threesome, twosome, or as a single. If you are not able to join us for golf, please consider being a hole sponsor, or making another donation. All proceeds benefit St. Bede School.
