St. Angela Church issued the following announcement on Oct. 4.

World Mission Sunday and Missionary Cooperation Collection will be the weekend of October 17-18. This year’s appeal will be substantially different in the Diocese of Pittsburgh due to Covid19. The World Mission Sunday collection will be combined with the Mission Cooperation Program. As you recall, the Mission Cooperation Program connects our parish with a visiting priest from an overseas diocese in need. There will not be any in person appeals made by a missionary group this year. Instead, a written appeal letter from our assigned mission will be read at all Masses. The name of our Mission Diocese and further details about this year’s appeal will be in the bulletin next week.
