SS Peter and Paul Church issued the following announcement on  Oct. 14.

The Knights of Columbus will be helping the Central Pennsylvania Community Action Food Pantry this fall with a “Fall Food Collection”. The Knights will be collecting food from now till Christmas. Please place your items in the blue containers in the back of the Church and our Knights of Columbus members will deliver all the items to the local Food Pantry. The following items are needed: soups, juices, rice, cereal, condiments (ketchup, mustard, salad dressings, and spices), coffee, tea, “Hamburger Helper”, macaroni and cheese, canned carrots, peas and mixed vegetables. Also they could use soda crackers/saltines, powered hot chocolate mix and other instant drink mixes. Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.
