St. Bartholomew Church issued the following announcement on Oct. 11.

The St. Bart's members of the Knights of Columbus have adopted a 2 1/2 miles stretch of highway from the church, from our cemetery to the end of Calvary Hill Road. The fall cleanup will be Saturday, October 24. They invite every ablebodied parishioner to join them. Meet in the church parking lot at 9:00 AM. Gloves, vests and bags will be provided.
