St. Bartholomew Church issued the following announcement on Oct. 18.

Ascension Parish, Jeannette, will host its annual spaghetti dinner October 27 at Mersinger Hall from 11:00 AM until 6:00 PM. Take-out only. The price is $10 per dinner. Tickets will be available at the door. Meatballs, six for $8, and sauce, one quart for $5, can be purchased separately. For advance orders, call Mersinger Hall 724-527-2659, on the day of the dinner.
