St. Clement Church issued the following announcement on Oct. 25.

Have you ever wondered how the various liturgical linens used during the Masses each week magically appear all clean and folded? You might not be aware of it, but there is a dedicated, behind-the-scenes team of parishioners who pick them up, launder, iron and return the altar linens to the Sacristy drawers on a regular basis. We are currently looking for someone to fill an open position for the months of March and September. You will receive instructions on caring for the following linens:

• Purificator – the rectangular linen that is used to wipe the Precious Blood off the chalice and purify the chalice and other sacred vessels.

• Corporal – the square shaped linen that is placed on the altar, underneath the chalice.

If you are looking for an “in-home” ministry where you can quietly contribute to the care of the Lord’s Table and make your own hours, this ministry is for you! Please call the Rectory Office@255-4422 or email Nancy Stamplis – nmstamplis@gmail.com if you would like to volunteer.
