St. Charles Borromeo, Bensalem issued the following announcement on Oct. 28.

National Vocation Awareness Week, November 1st-7th, is a time to contemplate that God faithfully calls men to the priesthood and men and women to the religious life.

With St. Maria Goretti Parish in Hatfield (1601 Derstine Rd.), we will offer a Holy Hour for Vocations and Family Festival of Praise on Sunday, November 1st from 7:00 – 8:30 PM. Music provided by Bethany Music Ministry and an art exhibition by Kristyn Brown and her images from TheSaints Project. Our celebrant for the evening will be Fr. Dave O’Brien (St. Jude Church and Shrine, Chalfont). Families and teens are welcome to join us for this evening honoring the Lord in his presence with Praise and Worship.

On Wednesday, November 4th at 7:00 PM, our second annual Ordinary Men, Extraordinary Mission Facebook Live event (@PhillyPriest)will continue with a priest panel of our newly ordained priests, including Fr. Wilmer Chirino, Fr. Cesar Izaguirre, Fr. Kevin Okafor, and Fr. August Taglianetti. Hear their vocation stories and learn about their experience being ordained during a pandemic, and they will answer your questions live!
