SS Philip and James Church issued the following announcement on Nov. 1.

Thank you for your continued support of the Ss. Philip & James Chester County Christmas program. For 2020, we have made a number of changes to keep everyone safe in the current environment. Most notably, we will not have a Giving Tree in church. Instead, we will be setting up a Virtual Giving Tree using the website Sign-Up Genius – details to follow next week. The Virtual Giving Tree will have the Christmas wishes for children, just like the yellow stars of years past. You can also request to sponsor a child by contacting us directly – if you leave a message, let us know the preferred gender and age range. Instead of the Red Bell ornaments, we are asking for gift cards to grocery stores to be given to the families.
