St. Angela Church issued the following announcement on Nov. 8.
Bishop Zubik has recently allowed parishes to utilize Eucharistic Ministers at the Masses. Fr. Jack will be in contact with our Eucharistic Ministers to determine their availability. Current Eucharistic Ministers will need to undergo a special training in light of the precautions. This training will take place Monday, November 9 at 7:00PM at St. Angela Church. The bishop has also allowed for Eucharistic Ministers to begin taking Holy Communion to the homebound. Fr. Jack will be in touch with those who were taking the Eucharist to those relegated to the home. A special training will also be needed to resume the taking of the Sacrament to the homebound (those not in the same household). This training will take place Thursday, November 12 at 7:00PM at St. Angela Church. If you used to take Holy Communion to the homebound and feel that Fr. Jack may not have your contact information, please contact Fr. Jack either by email or phone.
