St. Barbara Church issued the following announcement on Nov. 8.

For the last several months teen volunteers and their families have been sanitizing the church pews each Sunday after the conclusion of our 8AM Mass and prior to our 10:30AM Mass. This act of service is simple and helps to ease the workload of keeping our church safe and sanitized for visitors on Sunday. Anyone can be easily trained. Items are provided for you, as well as a brief 10 minute training. If you can help, and would like to be added to our rotating schedule, please reach out to Elisa Esasky. Commitment is no more than once a month for 20/30 minutes; and it’s an easy and helpful way to give back to your faith community.
