St. Bartholomew Church issued the following announcement on Nov. 8.
A Series of monthly presentations on Benedictine spirituality will continue on Sunday, November 15, from 3;00 PM to 4:15 PM. In the Archabbey Basilica Crypt. The topic will be “hospitality in Benedictine spirituality.” and Fr. Shawn Matthew Anderson, O.S.B., teacher of biology at Saint Vincent College, will be the presenter. To appreciate the presentation one does not need to have attended previous sessions. Because of the need to precautions due to the coronavirus crisis, attendance will be limited to 25 people, and social distancing will be observed. Attendees are asked to wear a face masks. If you plan to attend, please phone Fr. Donald, Director of the Oblates, in advance at 724-805- 2291. Attendees may also attend Vespers at 5:00 PM in the nave of the basilica. Supper and an evening session at 6:30 PM. Are available if those who are interested sign up at least nine days in advance. Contact Fr.
