Saint Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church issued the following announcement on Nov. 15.

Sponsored by the Nativity/St. Germaine’s Ladies of Charity 

Please help bring some holiday cheer to the men residing at St. Joseph’s House of Hospitality in Pittsburgh. 

The Nativity/St. Germaine’s Ladies of Charity will be collecting new men’s slippers (SIZE 9 and LARGER) to deliver to the residents.

 The slippers will be Christmas gifts so only new slippers please (NO SLIPPER SOCKS).

The slippers will be collected during the month of November. Boxes for the slippers have been placed in each church’s vestibule.
