St. Alexis Catholic Church issued the following announcement on Nov. 22.
It’s Sharing Tree time again! However, after 32 years, this year’s Christmas project has been modified due to COVID, in order to comply with current safety standards. We will still be helping most of the organizations as in past years, which include Family Links, Holy Family Institute, Bethlehem Haven, St Joe’s House of Hospitality, N.H. Community Outreach Seniors, Genesis, Women’s Choice Network, Vincentian Home and Little Sisters of the Poor, as well as some local families. But, instead of buying a gift, you can purchase a gift card (value of $30-$50). If you are able to help, please find the link to sign up on the homepage of our website, and return your gift cards to the box in the Parish Center or in the collection (marked in an envelope). Gift cards due back by December 1. Also the Ladies of Charity will be collecting them outside after the weekend Masses from November 21 - November 29. Although there will be no Christmas tree with colorful Angel tags or wrapped gifts at the altar, you will still be celebrating the gift of Jesus by sharing your generosity to help those in greater need at this time. Thank you for your assistance!
