St. Anne Church issued the following announcement on Nov. 17.

Our holy father, Gregory, "Taumaturgus," i.e., wonderworker, Bishop in Neocaesarea: died A.D. 270 in the reign of Emperor Aurelian.

Tradition states that he was instructed concerning the Holy Trinity by the Theotokos and St. John the Evangelist.
