St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church issued the following announcement on Nov. 22.

We will once again be working with the Windber Police Department to support their 21st Annual Christmas for Kids. Please help make a child’s Christmas special. A tree is in the back of the Church with numbered ornaments representing a child. Please take an ornament and record your name and phone number in the book on the corresponding numbered line. There is a recommended gift price of at least $25. Please wrap and return your gift, with the ornament on the outside to the parish office by December 11. Please try to get a gift receipt for clothing purchases and put it in with the clothing.
