St. Bartholomew Church issued the following announcement on Nov. 22.

Brighten the lives of children this Christmas by choosing one of the stockings and purchasing a gift for one of the 300 children (ages 14 and under) in need. Each of these children receiving gift is enrolled with the Prince of Peace Center's food pantry or will be identified a child in need. To participate take a stocking and purchase a toy or item for the age and sex of the listed child. Return the unwrapped gift along with the attached identifying stocking to the vestibule of the church in the designated bin BEFORE December 15, 2020.
